Service Agreement & Liability Disclaimer

1. Scope of Work

Fix-it Nico LLC will perform the services described in the provided estimate or work order. Any additional work requested outside the original scope will be billed at the standard hourly rate or as a separate flat fee.

2. Payment Terms

• Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

• Fix-it Nico LLC accepts cash, personal checks, and e-payments. Credit card transactions incur a 3% service fee.

• Late payments may be subject to a fee of 25% per month.

3. Homeowner Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide a safe work environment and clear access to the work area.

• Secure all pets and children away from the workspace.

• Identify and disclose any known hidden hazards (e.g., faulty wiring, asbestos, or fragile plumbing) prior to the start of work.

4. Limitation of Liability

Fix-it Nico LLC carries General Liability Insurance. However:

• Fix-it Nico LLC is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, such as dry rot, structural instability, or outdated plumbing/electrical systems that fail during the normal course of repair.

• Fix-it Nico LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the serviced areas.

5. Warranty of Workmanship

Fix-it Nico LLC stands by the quality of its work. We provide a 15-day warranty on labor. This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.

• Damage caused by client negligence or "acts of God" (e.g., flooding, storms).

• Manufacturer defects in materials provided by the client.

6. Permits and Regulations

The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or HOA approvals required for the project unless specifically handled by Fix-it Nico LLC as part of the contract.
